Aisling O'Gorman
Musician
Aisling has always been fascinated by the sound of the human voice, and having sung in choirs since a young age, she was naturally drawn to this form of vocal music. The power and possibilities for expression, artistry and creation through the combination of many voices is an endless source of inspiration for her.

Aisling currently directs several adult choirs and a junior choir. Her musical leadership is both inviting and dynamic while focussed on a depth of musical, creative and artistic engagement. Repertoire is contemporary and includes original composed music and performances throughout the year.

Aisling has worked as a musical director on a number of large vocal projects and in a variety of settings and with people of all ages. She is committed to on-going professional development and continues to deepen and expand her skills and expertise, thus benefiting all those she works with in an artistic capacity.

In addition, she runs a special vocal project with people with Parkinson's. Working collaboratively with the group members Aisling leads a process of musical engagement to achieve artistic goals. They perform and showcase their musical achievements several times a year.
